God Is Holy

"I am holy" is God's own declaration of Himself. When therefore He is pleased in addressing His people to connect with it, "Ye shall be holy," it is clear that communion can only be maintained between the Father and His children on principles which are in accordance with His own mind. While communion therefore is the highest privilege that can be known on earth, yet it must be according to the holiness of Him who says,
"Be ye holy; for I am holy."
May our souls be more sensible of the holiness of the fellowship which is of the Spirit!"
